The Ballad of Library Cutie

Just kidding, it's not a ballad. I can't write songs. I just though that title would sound cooler. Okay, so last year I used to tutor at the library, and the kid I tutored had a twin, who was tutored by this REALLY good-looking guy, who I called Library Cutie as a code name. So one day, I was waiting for my ride and so was Library Cutie, and I tried to wave ay him. He either didn't see me, or thought I was weird and chose to ignore my wave. I always feel awkward when I see him at school now. And that happened almost a year ago.

I Used to Love One Direction

Okay, so in middle school I was obsessed with One Direction, and also a little bit freshman year as well. While going through my photos I found some awkward 1D photos I thought you'd share. So remember if you're ever feeling awkward, you'll never be as awkward as Niall Horan in a pink sweater holding a Lab puppy.

Awkward Compliments...

Do you ever awkwardly accept compliments from people, or awkwardly give out compliments? FOr example, when someone gives you a compliment, do you just say "Thanks," but if you say, "Thanks, I KNOW!" it makes you look egotistical. And if you say, "No, not really, you sit on a throne of lies," it makes you look insecure. I've gotten some weird and random compliments from strangers and friends. For example, today someone told me, and I quote "You're nice and I love your face," I was kinda awkward so I just said, "Thanks, I like my face, too," even though sometimes I honestly don't. One time at camp, I was with my friends (I'll change their names here) Blueberry and Purpleberry, and Purpleberry dropped my clay, so Blueberry went to get me a plate to set my clay on. So Purpleberry told me he shipped me and Blueberry and a couple, and I was like, "Okay...?' then he said, "The way the wind is blowing your hair makes you look like a model," It was so sweet! I was like "Awwwweh, thanks!" Now I really miss Purpleberry cuz he never texts me anymore...anyways.. it was sweet and awkward. One time Blueberry told me "You are the nicest person I know. Like I actually took time to think of the nicest people I know and yeah, you are for sure one of them," Well, he texted that to me, and I was like "That's so sweet, now I'm gonna, like, cry!" and he said, "Why?" and I said "Because that was such a nice compliment!" I don't receive compliments well, as you can see. I'm even more awkward at giving them. One time, Purpleberry said, "It's so cool we have all the same classes together," (at art camp). I agreed and said, "Yeah! One time last year I had every class with someone but it was this mean girl I didn't like!" He was like, "Wow, THANKS Dinosaur!" I was like, "No! I didn't mean it like that, cuz I like you! I meant it was better than having classes with her!" Another weird compliment I gave to SociallyAwkwardPixie yesterday. We were staying after school and she had to go to the bathroom. So she was getting paper towels and made this sassy pose, so I was like, "Pixie, you could be a paper towel model!" and she said. "What?!" But she DID look like a paper towel model. One time, I was trying to flirt with this guy and the best thing I could think of to say was "I like your shoes," and a few days later I asked him to go to a dance with me but he had a girlfriend. I felt stupid. So...yeah...awkward compliments. Now here are some Daily Odd Compliments I found on Google. -SociallyAwkwardDinosaur

"How do you burn an @$$ down?"

On Halloween Eve, Dinosaur and I went to the ISD building at the community college near us. We went there for a NaNoWriMo writing meeting! Because November is national novel writing month, we decided that our school's writing club would take part in it this year! Pretty much, you start writing on the first of November, and you don't stop until the last day of the month. It is based strictly on word count, so you have to meet a certain goal by the end of the month. BUT, that isn't the point of this post :D The point is, after the meeting, Dinosaur and i were talking to our friends, and my one friend, Kitty, was singing the Barney song...but a pretty messed up version. The last few words were, "and we'll burn his @$$ down." So me, being stupid i asked "How do you burn down an @$$?" and Unicorn had apparently just taken a drink of her water. This resulted in an awkward explosion of laughter from her, and her water had sprayed all over me. It was GROSS!  But i really wanted to know how to burn an @$$ down.. cause as far as i know... it would burn UP...right?

Obnoxious Laughter!

This sort of goes along with SociallyAwkwardUnicorn's last post about quivering livers!

Anyone here have an obnoxious laugh like me? I just laugh at everything, and sometimes REALLY loudly! I even snort-laugh! It's really embarrassing! My family makes fun of me for it, and i think it probably scares small children and dogs, old people, and potential boyfriends!

Quivering Liver?

Have you ever had that one comment that makes you burst out in a fit of uncontrollable laughter, no matter where you are? Well, one day after a high school football game that me, SociallyAwkwardDinosaur, and a few of our other friends performed in (we're in the band), we went to a restaurant called Denny's to grab some ice cream! Other than me and Dino, there were 6 kids, and then three parents. The parents sat at one table, and the kids had their own! We were all having a great time laughing and joking around, just hanging out and relaxing. One of my friends, lets call her Pilot (cause she's pretty fly), leans over to me and whispers very creepily in my ear, "You make my liver quiver!" How awkward is THAT!? So, that being said, i completely lose it and start laughing out loud. The other people in the restaurant just stop eating and stare at me like im some kind of idiot. Now remember, it was like, between 12 and 1 in the morning, so i thought for SURE i'd be kicked out! I got up and went to the bathroom and sat in there until i could breathe again, then walked back to my seat, face as red as fire. I guess you could say... I was the girl on fire ;) Anyway, now whenever i see Pilot, or if i tell her i have someone that I like, she asks me if they make my liver quiver! SO creepy!

Stalking, I Mean, Admiring From Afar

So last year, SociallyAwkwardPixie had a crush on this guy. He was really popular and attractive and all the girls liked him. So there was the bowling fundraiser that he went to, and so did SociallyAwkwardPixie. Well, she was with her friends, and he was with his. So she decided to make a video of him bowling. And she did. And she still has it on her iPod to this day. She also edited it with an app so it has all these special effects like missiles shooting around and loud noises. It was super awkward and she was totally stalking him. Or as she would like to say, "admiring from afar."

Kissing Strangers!?

Have you ever had a kiss? A really good, sweet, yummy, chocolate kiss? A HERSHEY kiss!? There is no better kind of kiss right? Well, just remember that if you want to share these kinds of kisses with strangers, DON'T! I did that once, and i will never again do it! Walking in the hallway, i saw this really cute boy that i had a crush on for a very long time, and i decided to make my move. I walked up to him, and without thinking, asked "Hey, want a kiss?" I immediately regretted this decision! Needless to say, he thought i was a total, super, mega-creep and avoided me whenever he saw me in the halls! Moral of the story, "Keep those delicious kisses to yourself!"

The Creepy Winking Thing

So one time I thought this guy liked me...(it turned out he didn't so that doesn't matter) and my friend told me to wink at him. I was like, "No!" I can't without being creepy. Trust me, one time I winked at SoiciallyAwkwardUnicorn and she said "It looks like you're in pain." Needless to say, I didn't wink at this guy. Later, I was trying to flirt with a guy, and the friend who told me to wink started doing the Creepy Winking Thing while I was talking to him. I had to explain to the guy it was an inside joke between us so he wouldn't think I was creepy!

Want a Starburst? ;)

Finnick Odair: *seductive tone* "Want a sugar cube?"
Me: *Epically fails at seductive tone* "Want a Starburst?"

Ugly Snapchats!

Ugly Snapchats...
So obviously if you are a Snapchat user, you probably send ugly selfies to your friends as a joke. Maybe you make an ugly face or duck face and it looks like you have a quadruple chin. One time, I sent an ugly Snapchat to my friend, and apparently she took a screenshot of it, but I didn't get a notification! So at a band concert, she pulled out her phone and showed the ugly picture to our friends, then sent it to one of them, and now it's the wallpaper on his phone. So embarrassing!

Welcome! :D

Welcome to our world of awkwardness and social anxiety, where our life is a nonstop, mortifying cringe-fest, and it feels like a cheesy teen movie, except without a hot boyfriend.
